These features include under floor heating, which optomises the thermo dynamic efficiency of rooms; solar panels; renewable hardwoods; low vapour paints and adhesives; live/work space for a desk, allowing home working; central locations, reducing the need to drive; external landscaping - from bird boxes to green walls - providing habitats for invertebrates and wildlife.
